Liana Curtis
Founder & CEO
Liana Curtis is the co-founder of Courtesy Consulting and brings over 15 years of experience. She is certified in planning for organizational change, fostering leaders, building stakeholder relationships, and designing staff engagement programs. A graduate of Communication Studies in her hometown of St. Catharines, Canada, Liana's career has focused on developing internal and external communication and change management strategies for corporate companies and state agencies. She is deeply committed to supporting the skill development of people-managers, building professional development programs, and leading teams in a unified, intentional workplace culture.
Jess Hennessey
Founder & CEO
Jess Hennessey is the co-founder of Courtesy Consulting and has spent her entire career working for public institutions, including K-12 schools, universities, and state government. Jess holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in education and is passionate about the science of learning. She has over 10 years of experience designing effective and engaging learning opportunities for both adults and children. Jess also possesses extensive experience in writing and design, and she is dedicated to making complicated ideas understandable for a range of audiences.
